I been outta town for few months so I'm legit tryna understand wtf has happened to the DC area?
For years I used to always hit a 7-11 on the way home for a little gatorade or water or whatever after some late night shenanigans. why I just now hit three different 7-11s (two in DC, one Hyattsville) and all them bytches had their doors locked at midnight?? I said f it lemme hit the royal farms down the street then.
WRONG. I pull up few mins later. at least 5 squad cars all over. cashier comes out and says they closed cause someone just got jacked there few mins ago.
The whole area feels WILD af right now. tf happened??

Police don't do shyt, young black people are unruly and out of control.
I live in Southeast (Capital Hill East) but the hood is everywhere. I'm moving back to Louisiana next month. We have our issue there, but you can kind of avoid a lot of foolish. The hood is all over DC especially SE/NE bcuz of the metro.
If I was staying here, ill be moving to Virginia side. Maryland got a lot of youngster too.

Aint no puerto ricans like that in the city and Salvadoreans dont hang out with Black People
Low key DC is one of the most segregated places in the states.
Go to some parts of DC even today and you'd never see a non Black person.
Not as bad as DC and parts of Maryland but Alexandria has had an increase in convenience store robberies lately. It wasn't this bad when I first got here a few years ago.
I take 495 now but used to take that 395 all the time to work.
