ATL, but rasied in DMV
It's been so long, I wouldn't even know how to ride the DC Subway today. Now I see what my uncle was going through back in the 80's. My brother was telling me once when he and my uncle rode the subway together, our uncle needed assistance from one of the people in the booth, to show him how to buy and use his subway ticket. And he grew up in the streets of DC, straight outta Barry Farm, aka Barry Farms, with my father. But they were heavy bus riders back in those days, and they had no subway system. Now I could relate to my uncle very well when it comes to messing with these modern subway stations, especially with all these changes. I probably only rode the DC subway like three or four times in the last 28 years, and none in the last 10.

everyone says that every hood nikka in DC is from the Farms. People act like the absolute wildest area in DC is the Farms Just saw a Wanye Perry vid. Wayne was from SW. In fact the only super official nikka from the Farms was Shorty Pop.

Don't know if y'all crime watchers are following the DC Evidence Lab...but

A group of employees who collect evidence from crime scenes wrote to the board claiming that DFS leaders planned to make a variety of changes to their operations “that will drastically affect the unit and the quality of work we are capable of providing,” according to a copy of the letter forwarded to LL. The employees, who requested anonymity to avoid reprisal from DFS management, expressed alarm that the department wanted to phase out the use of a 3D laser scanning system they typically used to create detailed digital renderings of crime scenes, particularly those involving homicides, major auto accidents, or police shootings.

The employees argued that this would be a “detrimental” change “in our current state of being severely understaffed,” as it would require technicians to sketch and measure crime scenes on their own, a process that they said is both less detailed and more time-consuming than using the laser scanners.

The hell?

LOL.

SMH.

And :mjcry:
