Trump targets DC in latest executive order, establishing 'Safe and Beautiful Task Force'
President Donald Trump has signed a new executive order targeting D.C. The order establishes the "D.C. Safe and Beautiful Task Force," which reportedly aims to target crime, immigration and graffiti.
This is vile & racist. The language in the EO makes DC sound like a warzone thats full of savage Black criminals.

I mentioned way back in this thread me and the wife were looking to move to Silver Springs in 2021 before covid. Then ended moving to New Rochelle, NY...welp looks like either by the end of this year me and the fam may be moving to NW D.C. We'll have to get used to sharing walls with neighbors(in a row house) rats, and slow ass traffic and not turning on red. On the bright side, better school district for my kids and less landscape maintenance.
Great, just what we need, more unruly teenagers terrorizing malls as soon as the weather starts warming up. That mall will now be guarded like Guantanamo Bay going forward. No ratchetness will be allowed in any NOVA malls.

"Interestingly, the personal finance and date website GOBankingRates has recently found that the fastest-growing suburban area isn't a residential neighborhood of Austin or Charleston. Instead, it's a relatively small community just outside Washington, D.C.: I.E., the quaint Virginian town of Woodbridge, roughly 30 minutes.
According to GOBankingRates' research findings, the Prince William County community had roughly 4,400 people making up its population in 2018. By 2023, that number had risen to a staggering 43,443 residents within its designated borders.
CJ Williamson, a researcher with GOBankingRates, revealed the website's data to Travel + Leisure, telling the travel publication, “Woodbridge is by far the number one fastest-growing suburb in America, according to our latest research. The DC-area suburb experienced a massive population boom of 887% between 2018 and 2023.”
