I see all types of messed up predatory practices...none of which are good for the folks on that side of town..

And other folks get misty eyed.

The video is just hundreds of kids in SW roaming the streets with cops blocking off the actual road.

As I understand the story, tik tok organized a bunch of kids to go to national harbor. Seemingly to do to Tik Tok videos. But...

The police at national harbor responded and then those same kids went to the wharf instead.

And from there we get these mobs of kids running around.

Something fun and peaceful is met by the law enforcement. And when kids regroup, same things happen.

I find Middle schoolers and high school boards to be full of energy, but very annoying. I get it.

But anytime they use their constitutional right do gather and associate with each other, the First amendment, they're met with law enforcement.

They aren't allowed to associate, to congregate.

It's as is if young people are a scourge, a menace.

The society doesn't give them the ability to do something unless it's overseen and organized...(Infiltrated and controlled...)

I hear you overall point, but the threads about what caused the National Harbor curfew to be imposed last year are still up.

The group or person who organized the tiktok meeting surely knew about the law change, if they are local. So that was a misguided idea.

90 % of young kids just want to have fun and live life. The tiny percent who go out to cause trouble, and the small percent of followers fukk things up for 90% . Was true when I was a kid, its true now.

The skirmishes didnt start because of law enforcement. The trouble makers did what they came there to do.

When I was coming up, EVERYBODY had a band!
I was the talker in our group. Our highlight was winning a talent show and winning some shirts with our name (Full Circle) on it. Outside of that, we didn't go anywhere.

It depends if you want Culture or you want Montgomery County.

You go to the Boulevard Tonight in PG county and there might be a fight or you can stay in Bethesda where it’s safe. Bethesda has a main street but the white folks really want to go to Downtown DC for reasons.

Black people deal with the fukkery without complaints you can’t have vibrant culture and nightlife and nothing happens.

I don’t know why white people want to pay 4k a month to live in a shoebox apartment with huge rats in their trashcans.

Give me Deer in Bowie rather than Rats in DC.

what I’m saying is the old chocolate city is almost gone.

The small parts that are left need to be left alone. I seen a white lady go into those new developments at Sheridan Terrace. Sheridan Terrace is still Sheridan Terrace so if white people live there they need to not be on some Karen shyt and calling the cops because someone played an old Backyard tape too loud.

Or they need to move their ass back to Montgomery county where they don’t have to hear no Go Go or deal with YN’s on MLK ave.

I was ready to run over a clown over a road rage incident on his part on MLK That was annoying but I’m willing to deal with it because I prefer the old Chocolate City warts and all.
