I’m moving to DC this fall. What areas do y’all recommend i look? Or what places should I avoid? Single guy. Looking to spend around 2500 or less. I don’t mind a commute. Just nothing insane like over an hour one way. I’ll be working in Suitland.

You can live pretty much anywhere with your budget if you’re not only looking for a house

If it's the Census Bureau, Suitland Metro Station is right there and tons of the workers ride it every day.

Man I have no idea what you’re talking about as far as the census bureau. :mjlol:I’m in the Air Force. Gonna be working at Andrews. I’m just looking for a fly little spot. It doesn’t have to be too big because I’ll be on the road often. I just want something comfortable for when I’m at home.

Trust me when I say you want your commute as short as possible. DC traffic is a bytch especially during rush hour, you wanna be as close to work as possible. And as a single cat, you can do that without thinking about other shyt dudes with families gotta take into consideration.

This is true. I refuse to drive in D.C., even though my job offers a stipend for parking. It can take me a good 30 minutes to go like 3 miles. I just can't do it. The train is not reliable at all but at least I'm not in traffic.
