Overview

• Snow has fallen for over 24 hours and about 6 to 9 inches of snow have accumulated. This is the biggest snow in Washington since January 2016 (officially 5.4 inches at Reagan National through 1 p.m.).
• There’s the potential for an additional 1 to 3 inches this evening - heaviest from the District south. Road conditions are deteriorating and slicks conditions will linger into the Monday morning commute.
• Storm totals should range from 5 to 10 inches with the highest amounts just south of town. A few spots may hit double digits. The snow should wind down between 8 p.m. and midnight.
• The unofficial name for this storm is #Snurlough - based on the recommendation of reader Phil Yabut.

I’ve been wanting to hit NuVegan up for a min, just don’t know which one tho. I’m not Vegan but I don’t object to healthy eating and eating outta my comfort zone (Imma foodie after all lol).

On that note, you ever been to Everlasting Cafe breh?

Yeah it’s still snowing out heavily here in PG and the temps are gonna stay in the upper 20s all night and it’ll keep snowing til midnight tonight.

Also y’all, just a heads up even tho it could be subject to change, but this upcoming Fri-Sun could see additional snowfall according to the Weather app.

Im out in the boonies. I don't think we got as much southern pg county. I underestimated how much bc they've been out here with the snow plows in my neighborhood since it started so it didn't look like much of a build up but it snowed again earlier and when i ran out to the store I saw how much was out there on the streets. Checked the weather and Schools are closed already for Monday so that told me all I needed to know. No school, bad road conditions= no backup child care=extra day off work...

Be safe out there tho if you have to go out , black ice and freezing over.

How much snow y’all got?

I took a nap today and woke up to a whole lotta white. The snowy days of winter is the woat in the DMV for me... Last winter it was so cold that my door handle broke off when I tried to get in my car to go to work, and that joint is still broke till this day even though I bought a new one to install...

@Skooby try Sweet Sosumba also. they are a vegan jamaican spot. Get the jerk chikn sandwich with extra parmesan crisps and any smoothie with ginger innit 3510A Georgia ave, a couple blocks up from NuVegan, Ga and Newton i think.


Also everyone else who eats regular food man you gotta try Heat Da Spot. It is a wonderul spot and they breakfast sandwiches are likethatlikethat

All my government brehs...I was wrong. Offices closed tomorrow unless you telework. Luckily for me I left my laptop at my desk.

Thanks. I'm gonna check out both spots. Haven't really checked out DC like I should since I been here. After work I go straight home lol.
