I'd rather live a little outside of the city and live with dignity than to pay out my ass just to be "close to the action"

DC ain't on the level of London, NYC or Paris to be charging such prices

The damn Metro doesn't even go till 2am

I work near union station and these $2000+ apartments with bums laying drugged up and passed out on the sidewalk should not be something folks wanna live near

cab driver was cool, other than that the place had an Invasion of the Body Snatchers type of vibe with the people the next day, I kid you not breh, the fact that they always have national tragedies combined with that experience made me say never again. I mean it had the ultimate creepy small town vibe.

Service culture at some of the black owned restaurants I've been to is just piss poor.

Carolina Kitchen has some of the most mind boggling disorder I've ever seen. How do you have 15 people working behind the counter but can't ring up someone getting a pre-made takeaway meal in 5 mins

Don't even get me started on wait times. Jamaican and Nigerian/W. African restaurants are notorious for their wait times.

I will support black owned businesses in the area but there has to be a standard with service and product. Sentiment can only trump economic value for so long.
