Had brunch at The Smith on U st last weekend...very on point. Breakfast entrees come with a free cocktail

Officina at the SW waterfront is
Three levels...first floor is a open air bar with views of the Potomac. 2nd floor is the actual restaurant, and 3rd floor is a rooftop bar.
The food is good too...authentic Italian family style
