I lived in Ridgleys Delight for 2 yrs and left right after the riots. I didn’t think the crime was that bad. Aside from the riots and then the curfew:

- I saw a guy get shot in the head and killed around the corner from Lexington Market by the Rite.

-Was in 2 different stores that got robbed while I was shopping.

-Had the police shutdown my street looking for a fugitive. They had dogs, helicopters and the whole neighborhood shutoff. They ended up finding ole boy hiding under a car in Dover St.

And this was all before crime started going back up.

I stay on West Virginia Ave, Northeast but not across the bridge and I’ve had at least 3 murders in the two year’s I’ve stayed over here. Dudes are ruthless.

I almost bought a house for $35k with owner financing on West Pratt near the park. The deal was so good I had to do research and found out people were getting dropped left and right around there.

If you’re moving anywhere just do your own research first because the real estate people won’t tell you about crime.
