If you like sultry deep house music, then you’ll really enjoy the vibes there. Deep house is their specialty, but the play all kinds of music depending on the night and have live jazz bands come in from time to time. It got pretty packed when I went there pre-COVID, but overall the crowd is more grown, without being pretentious, and everyone is there to just chill and eventually dance.
The owner didn’t renew the lease of the original location during COVID, so he’s opening it back up in Blagden Alley during the Fall. OG spot went on strong for 25 years until the pandemic.
I’ll miss the old location in Dupont because of the charm it had inside, and as far as nightlife went, all of my other spots were conveniently in the vicinity.
You know how much I love me some Deep House and Jazz (especially if it’s live)

What’s the average age range you think is common in there? I’ll be 29 in two months so I’m kinda in that weird transition zone where I prefer to party with ppl no younger than 25 and no older than 35.
Is it mixed racially?
Any entrance fee and dress code?
And that sucks about the relocation because I’ve always to check out their OG spot
Hell, it would’ve definitely been convenient since Decades is a mere walk from it too. But at least Blagden Alley is like a 9 min walk or 5 min Lyft ride to Eaton Hotel, I believe I told y’all about its lit ass rooftop parties
