Just left the African American Museum in DC and brehs


One of the best experiences of my life. I might have to go 2 more times. I didn't even take everything in. We as a people are really magic

It’s a pretty dope museum. Now if you want the more raw and unfiltered version of our experience in this country, I highly recommend the Great Blacks In Wax Museum up in Baltimore and after that, go westward on North Ave til you hit up Everyone’s Place, which is prolly the most legendary Black-owned bookstore on the East Coast.

Just be forewarned about the wax museum, you WILL get triggered to the nth level. shyt fukked me up when I went on my 5th grade field trip back in the day

It’s so many events happening around Juneteenth weekend, Idk what to do

I’ll be chillin with the fam on the actual day of Juneteenth tho since it’ll be Father’s Day and we’ll be celebrating it with my stepfather. We’re gonna hit up Georgia Brown’s and it’ll be my first time going but the food and the restaurant itself look amazing.

As for that Saturday, me and my friend tryna hit up that Moechella parade. U Street got a lotta events popping up that weekend and up at the Merriweather in Columbia, I think they’re gonna do the Neo Soul Wine Festival.

I’m sure Baltimore gonna be crankin Juneteenth weekend too. To the Bmore family @TM101 @BmoreGorilla @sayyestothis @NeoSeeker what events are going down up y’all way around Juneteenth?

Oh hell nah, that wasn’t no damn mass shooting. High chance it was just some nikka shyt (it’s unfortunate yes but still). I’ve been telling ppl that since it’s getting harder to hide these Cacs committing all these weekly mass shootings since covid is becoming a thing of the past, the media is tryna gradually make Black people (most especially from the hood) the face of mass shootings in this country. That whole area around Iverson Mall including the mall itself ain’t no stranger to gunshots or fukkery, the media tryna run game on folks who don’t know better.
