I know a lady who got jammed up for doing this. They let her get away with it until she hit the felony limit. They waited for her last transaction and the police were waiting outside. They had all the videos of her stealing.
When I worked at a supermarket we 100% had video and tracked all the thefts to wait until the felony limit.I'm not trying to catch a RICO over some damn steaks and colossal donuts! I'm cleaning up my whole act IMMEDIATELY!
