I see that was a club back in the day and before that a decent sized Restaurant and with the Hotels, Coffee shops, and Condos ( I used to live near there) Parking has to be absolute madness. They badly need a parking deck but it would fukk up people´s view.

That whole strip is an overdeveloped madhouse.

I see they be having shows and I guess it´s associated with the Old 930 club or maybe it´s supposed to be the 930 club Again old nikka I remember when it was on F Street downtown before it moved to the used to be super hood WUST building near U street.
Yea I havent been to the wharf since I was a kid…completely different now…all gentrified up
wasn't there a fight at the show :russ:
Lol I aint see nothing…saw some nickahs beefin next to me but they squashed it before they got to swinging

Havent gone to a concert in ages in DC cause I always thought ppl get to fightin in them…them old gogo joints back in the day made me always keep my head on a swivel

makes sense good luck on getting high speed rail funded it would be a gamechanger and basically move most Anacostia residents to Towson.

I mean it would have its challenges but if you gon do all this work for a bush ass purple line then minus well go all in and create optimal regional options for commuting the state. It’s small enough to where it could be a manageable project.

I’d say the only issue is that certain parts of the state are harder to build up like the west side and the eastern shore is at risk of global warming.

This is exactly why I be saying Maryland needs high speed rail on some Europe/Japan type shyt. You’re trying to fit a huge amount of people into a little slice of land that follows the I-95 corridor from DC to Baltimore. You could easily bring prices down and at the same time boost the population of dying towns and cities elsewhere in the state.

Truth is, most people with power or influence are hardly that creative because of how much they have to compromise themselves to maintain that position.
Exactly. Have denser housing/apartments near the train stations and have them spread out through the state. People wont have to compete for places near the cities.

They couldn't even handle making the street car stop at Union Station. THAT WAS 200 MILLION for that.

HSR from DC to Baltimore would be a MASSIVE issue.

Americans aren't serious people.

That’s insane. Maybe it’d be cheaper since a lot of the system would be built in remote areas. Still, if it cost that much just to do that then I can’t imagine a whole high speed rail system.

shyt would solve everything and make the state even more wealthy than it currently is. You’d have the opportunity to build new cities or expand smaller towns into more vibrant places. Ideally, you’d use all four corners of the state. That way people also get to choose their vibe since different parts of Maryland offer different geographic features.

That´s crazy considering somehow DC is the bigger market. I don´t know why that is but it is I guess the DMV is larger than Baltimore county.

You got the National Guard Patrolling the streets still in DC.

Why as a promoter would you want to deal with that headache when you could just do a show it Baltimore .
