Went to Richmond this past weekend to see the Swiss beats and Alicia keys Giants art exhibition. Was super crowded because it was the last day but was able to get through it.

For someone with kids. Daughter going into high school next year. Besides Howard and Montgomery County, what are the next best counties to consider? Those counties or NOVA aren't in my range. What schools public or private would be ideal? looking for quality teachers that want to be there. Kids that want to learn. Good sports and band programs
Its all about individual schools save by living in PG county and use the savings for private school even in PG county bowie ain't that bad

Hell yes. You live in Columbia unless you find a distressed sale it´s gonna cost way more than Laurel and it´s not that far away but P.G. County has a stigma so even the nicest areas like Bowie or Laurel white people don´t want to live there.
What Most Black People who want to live in an area where there´s no killer cops and low crime is they move further out in PG county. There´s places that´s semi rural in Upper Marlboro too expensive for hood ninjas and frankly too far out but perfect for Middle Class Black People
Lake Arbor, Kettering, Mitchellville is great places to live relatively cheap and Black owned surrounded by Black Excellence but the schools are kinda shyt because you might get Du Val highschool which gets kids from the hoods like Landover, and Glenarden again still decent places to live but you get some up from hood nikkas who maybe single momma raised or is a single momma who somehow came up so they got the money but can´t discipline their children who might try to act hard because they think that what it means to be Black. I remember when I moved around Landover and nikkas went out of their way to prove that although they lived in the suburbs they weren´t softies.

Why do pg county schools get a bad rep?
Because they´re Black run and there´s a significant amount of single mother headed families.
I´m not dissing single mothers as a whole technically my mother was not a single mother but when the fam broke up she just wasn´t on my head top like my father was.
He had a job that kept him on the road a lot but mothers of sons kinda believe their son´s bullshyt. I was just rewatching Friday and the difference between Craig´s family situation and Smokey´s was telling.
Craig´s father made him smell his shyt and was all up in his business Smokey´s moms sent him to the store Smokey could´ve gotten killed right there and his moms ain´t know shyt.

Man I was driving back and from Richmond and saw the traffic for the stabbing last Sunday god bless they said they had to land a helicopter on the freeway idk what’s up with people these days best just walk away.
