Let's try to keep this troll free and have a real dialogue...

The Donald came, saw, and conquered....:salute:

Doesn't matter if you hate him, love him, or love to troll others that you love him. What he did was beyond unprecedented.

So let's look at the state of things, trump has some extreme ideas and has control of the house and senate similar to what Obama had.

Now what happens to the democratic party???

Who are the rising stars and the future leader of the party? Also another question that has to be asked was this phenomenon with trump a one time thing? Here are a few of my thoughts...

I think from a national perspective, people will blame Hillary not being a good politician, Bernie supporters, and Gary Johnson. But things like this to tend to be psychoanalyzed instead of just looking at facts. That means despite job growth and Obama's approval rating, Clinton still got washed.

I don't want to say it but it's obvious Trump tapped into something with the majority of whites in this country. I feared the Bradly effect with Obama that people would publicly say in polls they would vote for Obama but when they're in that booth, would that let a black man run the country and they did twice.

If you look below the surface this was there 8 1//2 years ago. When that old white lady called Obama a muslim and Mccain said no he's not and I just disagree with. He lost then, because a lot of whites didn't feel he was one of them. Four years later, Romney was seen as elite plus the 47% killed him because that included whites. Trump has more money than both of them and he made it about the people instead of himself.

As far as rising stars. I don't know who in four years you could put against Trump. Hillary political career is over and has been a failure of so many levels and Bernie is old, Warren is old and too extreme. Obama can't run again. Tim Kaine wouldn't beat pence or trump in a presidential race.

So Breh's where does the party go from here?????

I think the bigger question is where does the country go from here and how do we interact with the world given the divisive rhetoric that has been spewed lately.

In all honesty, the Democrats made everyone scared.

People see what's happening on colleges right now. The newspeak ... Gender fluidity... pronouns being forced down our throats. But worse of all OUR (conservatives) opinions were being actively silenced by the media and these ultra violent purple-haired fat lunatics and the he/shes.

How are these identity politics a priority right now?

I make 150K a year, and while I am not in the market for a house because I was lucky, I definitely could not afford to buy a house right now. How is this possible? Why aren't these the issues at the forefront? In this bluest of blue states, in this bluest of blue areas (bay area), a small starter house is 1 million dollars, and 2 bedroom apartment is $4000? Nearly ALL of the lower wage unskilled workers commute 100 MILES, in dead lock traffic and 2 hour one way commutes, from the Central valley to feed, clothed and clean these Snobby, smug and ultra-rich liberals in the bay area. How dare these Rich snobs in San Fransisco, San Jose, Los Gatos, Marin City and the Peninsula tell the poor that THEY know what is best from them, while the poor travel 2 hours everyday and struggle to even makes ends meet? Oh and guess what? The Rich get luxury buses to take them to work.. don't they?

And it's really the same everywhere isn't it? Look at Michigan and Ohio. I have been there, and it's a disaster for both Black and Whites. Everyone is struggling out there, and Obama and the local Dems have done nothing to help these people.

Then, somehow, you have to nerve to say that voting conservative is voting against their own interests? What have you done? Except rub Trannies in all our faces and demand that we except them as if that is some high priority...

In the last years of the Obama administration, I felt scared for my life. I felt somehow, some "word" would get me fired from my job or land me a ruthless beating from the SJW maniacs. Then I saw how this people acted at the triggering. Then I see the active collusion between the media and the identity politics agenda (Ghostbusters etc..)

The Rebel in all of us was invoked, and you created our energy. Trump let loose the spirit bomb.

Democrats if they want to stay alive have got to stop toeing the line and being so damn moderate and light conservative.

You cant be half pregnant. Either you are or your not.

It seems ever since Bill Clinton's 2nd term they have been so corporate and moderate in every sense of the word.

Get back to truly being liberals. They need to stop trying to be like Republicans.

Or at the very list stop going against the wishes of the youth. If they want a specific candidate to win then push that candidate and not who you want.

The Opposite Of Elliott Wilson's Mohawk
I have no affiliation to neither party, but looking back at the DNC, I can see they're grooming Corey Booker for big things to come. thats my bet.
White America wants no parts of another black president

Dems only hope is to legitimately cater to populists... it's clear that's who is in control now and their issues affect most of the country
