That's fukked up man. I hope ya'll aren't taking this sitting down. No matter what happens I wanna see people being shyt on like this make some serious noise.

An old white lady tried to do my wife like that at the polls. She had her ID passport, social security card, and a gas bill, and the lady still tried to make her use a provisional ballot. Good thing my wife knew the laws cause she told that old lady that was bullshyt, and another poll worker overheard the exchange, and gave my wife her ballot.

at these racist ass CaCs they gone be mad when strolls back into the white house.

I'm not a lawyer so I'm not aware of all the legal aspects of what we're doing, but I'm hoping that we litigate the hell out of this situation to get all of those provisional votes counted. I mostly focus on voter education so we've been trying to get the info out there, but we can't reach everybody. We should have done more outreach in locations near the polls but that might cause additional problems.

I didn't think it would actually be this bad but one of the lawyers at my job said that if the election comes down to provisional ballots then Obama could very well lose. At the least, the race will be closer than it should be. They have brought out all the stops to keep people's votes from counting, and its working.

Hell yeah. I hear more radio ads for this than anything.

But I voted yes for Prop 30. I hear both sides of the argument and felt kind of bad not being more informed by I just moved out here a month ago. If it does what it's supposed to I can't be mad at it. From what I understand the schools out here are piss poor so we gotta lift these kids up.

I understand the people opposed for it though because it's not guaranteed to work but you gotta take risks when it comes to schools... think of the children...

And I just found out they made my dad cast a provisional ballot! They said he received an absentee ballot, which is bullshyt because I know he didn't submit the absentee application (everyone in Ohio is mailed an absentee ballot application but you have to fill it out to actually receive the absentee ballot itself). He didn't know that some of these poll workers are incompetent so he didn't challenge them on it. And he said they made other people cast provisional ballots for the same fake reason. I wish he would have waited to bring me with him because I would have gotten in straightened out ASAP.

I might go around to his precinct right now to try and prevent them from screwing even more people but that might cause even more drama. I haven't been this upset about politics in a minute.

i just voted. it was one of those scanning joint that you put your ballot in after you filled in your choices. i wish i could get a receipt that confirmed my vote was counted properly.
