I am from NC. I interned with Democracy NC and had a decent sized hand in getting the Same Day Voter Registration (Early Voting) in the state. i want everyone to take a look at the early voting numbers for our state. Im on the ground here, and I feel pretty good that Obama will win the state. I understand what the polls are saying, but the early voting numbers ( United States Elections Project ) show 29% of the early vote is black, 49% is Democrat.

Thats a completely different reality than the story being told about my state. Its similar to 2008 when my state was expected to go McCain, but the polls underestimated the black turnout. Below are two detailed analysis from the DailyKos about who is voting early. This is important to look at since some of the people, like me, were likely to vote anyway and the vote was just banked early.

I have an eery feeling republicans will try to steal ohio and florida. They're really willing to do anything to win this time. They have an ad right now in Ohio full of lies about the auto industry and obama's positions on it.

Yep. I live in NC also. When I went to vote early, the line was to the door...with mostly black folks.
