U do realize that a lot of those "independents" are really just conservatives that used to call themselves Republicans, but that brand is so bad because of Bush, they don't want that label. (happened around 2010 when the Tea PArty started making moves) Its like if I registered as an Independent. I can call myself that but I will always, always ALWAYS vote for the progressive candidate.
