what are you talking about? the whole point of this argument is because the bul @FTBS is DENYING that iverson was blackballed. there seems to be a legion of posters that share the same sentiments on this site.

lol @ memphis. the whole idea of iverson coming off the bench for that squad is a joke and disrespectful. and the fact that memphis was "his last chance" is a crock of chit. most of these ballplayers are either divas or got some type of other chit with them. the difference with iverson is that he is a powerful figure, represents counter-culture and pissed the wrong people off, like david stern.

the more appropriate statement should be "Everybody and they mother know that iverson was gonna get ran out of the league prematurely as soon as he dropped out of the elite rankings". those big-wigs always hated iverson. niccas know what it is.

AI no longer being in the league has way more to do with production or lack thereof than any grand scheme against him. It doesnt' get more counter culture than choking your coach out or fighting fans and those nikkas were all in the league the next year. You have yet to refute that point. AI's issue was losing a step and having nothing to fall back on more so than "pissing the wrong people off".

exactly. Everybody saw it coming. AI should have just suck it up and do what he was told. He didn't have leverage anymore and as such he should have just played the role and for a couple more years. he did not throw OJ Mayo in the bushes. Its just that the franchise wrongly valued Rudy gay as a franchise player and sent OJ mayo packing when he was more valuable to Grizz than Gay as was proven by Gay's trade.

Gay was sent packing because of Hollinger. Rudy gay just wasn't worth what the team is paying for him and what he was producing. only problem with Zbo is his contract and new CBA

Everybody know Jamal Crawford's career cannot be compared to Iverson's. But at that point in AI's career, that's the role he needed to take if he was to stay in the league for a few more years.
