that would be like me hosting the munich beer festival and then complaining about there being too many socialist germans there.

in other words, sign up to host a western competition you are gonna get western behaviour.

maybe next time be led by your morals and do something else.

or maybe be upfront about "acceptable behaviour" as part of your bid so everyone knows in advance.

Yeah, we can be all pissed at Qatar (and we should be) but they have NEVER shirked from their ideals. And for as much as I disagree with those ideals, I can't force them to think/feel other wise.

The fault is on FIFA for thinking they had more juice than the Emir or the Quran.
I woulda NEVER paid money to go to such a place.

Both can be true. Qatar made decisions a week before the competition because they knew nothing could be done about it. FIFA does the same thing.
