Merc really has a serious tyre warm up issue. Hopefully by qualy, when the track rubbers in they will be ok, but they are nowhere right now.

DAS was the key.

It'll be fine during the race but yeah, on qualifying runs they look horrible.

Car has good race pace, but tyres just aren't warming up for qualy. Somewhere Merc assumed they could 'get by' on these tracks, and it may bite them in the ass.
