It doesn't have to be Lewis. Max isn't a great wheel to wheel driver. He never really evolved from karting. He just needs someone on his flank for the mistakes to crop up.

Although I have a hard time understanding that move, since Lewis will be 40 in 2025 and building Ferrari into a championship winning team seems to be a long term project. Unless he does a Schumi and bringst half the Mercedes Team, including Toto, with him, he runs a big risk of ending up like Alonso and Vettel before him. But maybe he gave up on the 8th championship and just wants to cash one last big check.
