Doing this Mona quest right now
Spent $30 on gems. Prior to that only got the weekly thing and the BP, which is when I got Qiqi.
Off that $30 I got Klee and the 4* Xingqui.
I don't really want specific characters like most people so I have no reason to buy a bunch of gems. As long as my roster has every element covered with characters I enjoy playing, I'm straight. For example I have a full constellation Xiangling for fire but I don't like playing with her. Which is why I was gunning for Klee, I liked the "demo" of her character we had.
Having said all that, if I continue to have fun with this game I'll probably drop $40-$50 every month just because that's how much I'd spend on a new game, anyway. Worst case scenario I'll try to get some 5* weapons.

I've taken all my hoodrat activities budget and allocated it to eating out more often. truth be told if they didn't run like shyt on ps4 and also had better rates I'd gladly put in a lil chunk every month.I'm waitin till all the kinks worked out and they start giving out the real freebies in a year or so like literally all other gachas.

What’s so appealing about this game? I looked at some vids briefly and it looks like your typical Japanese anime no name game that is proally ok but not really worth the a lot of attention, but for some reason this game is getting all the attention

I succumbed to the temptation and tried some pulls with the wishes I was saving brehs
Luckily I had 15 wishes saved and only used 7. My eyes lit up when I saw that orange 5 star glow, was thinking I finally bagged Diluc but instead got a 5 star weapon, it’s a bow. Skyward Harp, levelled it up to 70 but I’m underwhelmed by it
Also I’m approaching AR40 and I don’t feel like my team is ready for a world level jump on another note, I’m at floor 7 of the Abyss
back to scrounging and foraging for primo gems

Damn breh. When you put it into that perspective, it nearly makes me want to put more money on the game over time. Definitely may think about doing more than I initially planned, depending on characters and other content rollouts and what the adjustments and drop rates turn out to be. Tho I'd probably only spend that amount perhaps like 1nce a quarter or something. We'll see tho. So far, still just the battle pass and 5 dollar thingie, so just 15 bucks so far. I definitely figure I'll be paying a full retail total in some capacity eventually tho.

Yeah, I can see that. Especially if they stick to these 6-week content rollouts, steady improve and add even more shyt to the map, more diverse characters and enemies. shyt already feels massive and like a bigger game than BOTW, which judging by it's current map, I'm not even technically sure if that's true or not, but it definitely feels bigger than BOTW's map and overall scale. I feel like it's already showing what BOTW could've been if ninty were the type to truly go all in with its expansions.

Is 10 the maximum rank for the statues of the seven? If so I’m 7 geoculus and 3 anemoculus away from maxing them without using a map or going out of my way to find them. Just regular exploring.
I do agree that not having an in-game way to track them at launch was kind of stupid considering how many there are. Also there’s a quest locked behind grabbing all geoculus. Devs need to move away from this type of design nikkas not trying to do collectathon around the map in order to complete quests
also, I had to do like +10 runs of this one domain to get two pieces of the Flame Witch artifact set. The drops are so heavily tipped to the other sets is ridiculous.
