Random up....Which joints you got? We have damn near the same preference.I listen to a lot of bass heavy music mostly reggae, afro beats, reggae ton and hiphop.
Also love r&b and my beats drown out singers with lower registry like brandy.
Im more into clarity than something super base heavy.
But I'm greedy I'm want the best of both worlds
I need clarity and something that can handle bass heavy songs.
Need my headphone to be able to handle all the trap music but subtle enough to let my mind wonder with some baby face.
I've been thinking about audio technica m50x but is there any other suggestions.
I tried the boss qc25 at best buys but they weren't base heavy enough for me .
Oh and of course i need something comfortable i can listen to for a couple hours in the gym and at home for extended hours .

I love my Beyerdynamic DT 770 32 ohms. 
The clarity and how neutral sounding they are is great too. I also decided to purchase the Red Dragonfly DAC with it as well. I love the black one I currently have of course.

I just received the Red Dragonfly DAC/Amp in the mail, and it sounds even better than the Black one. The music in my Beyerdynamics sounds even livelier.

Looks like I’m the only person posting in here as of late. Lol. But I ended up buying a new pair. I hated spending another $170, but then again my AirPods are my daily drivers and I can’t imagine my life without them.I lost my AirPods.
