Nah, the rise of EDM and its similar sounding music in other artforms, like rap and country, to a lesser extent, is making less music that is timeless. Other words, music itself is disposable and will never produce a timeless artist to last through the ages ever again.

Thee EDM sounding music is also very popular among gay/lesbian clubs, so it is natural that forces will spill it out to public events.
