To say it isn't generally looked at like that is ridiculous though.

Im saying how true music fans should look at it (and how many do).
I know casual fans of music (type of people who listen to the radio think the Grammys mean something...but if you know music to the point where you post on a msg board about it you should know what the deal is.

Its like if they had an awards show dedicated to House Music...Skrillex would sweep the whole show...but people into house music would know its bullshyt.
