Speaking on that Daft Punk album, when that shyt dropped I was calling it the worst album of the year. It was music made for musicians, not for listeners. It was Steely Dan without any soul. Just a bunch of guys playing instruments well but not writing good songs.

I have warmed up to it a bit since then, but still it wasn't even close to the level of GKMC. But it was pretty clear from the moment the nominations dropped that they would win it. And once GKMC didn't win for rap album it was a lock.
