For what it’s worth, our source was able to confirm the long-rumored combination of an octa-core chipset (likely the Snapdragon 810) and 3GB of RAM, but they weren’t able to corroborate any of the other HTC One M9 specs we’ve heard to this point. Here’s a quick recap of what’s rumored to be stuffed inside:

Snapdragon 810 chipset with Adreno 430 GPU (which is an Octa-Core chipset)
3GB of RAM
5-inch 1080p display
2,840mAh battery
Android 5.0 Lollipop with HTC Sense 7.0
20.7 megapixel camera on the rear, UltraPixel camera on the front

There’s no reason to believe the rest of that list won’t hold up once the official announcement is made at Mobile World Congress on March 1st. We’re digging for more information and we’ll be sure to pass anything we hear along, but in the meantime let us know if you think this device is shaping up to be a worthy successor to one of 2014’s best flagship Android phones.
:ehh: Looks similar. Wish they would remove that fukking part that says HTC, such a waste of space and makes the device longer for no reason.

Yassss!!!!

So gonna cop. My m7 has done me proud so far - easily the best phone I've ever had - but it's time to upgrade. I'm glad it's only 5 inches, was worried they were gonna go pass 5.5.

Just hope the battery is bigger and camera is better.

if the camera is better and the SD card port is different I might cop.

I'm tired of this gs5 already.

eh when it comes to phones, i think 1080p is perfectly fine. if they had gone 1440p, id guarantee the screen would be no smaller tham 5.5. not to mention how taxing it would be to the hardware.
I was joking.

IMO even 720P is fine on these small ass screens, but I'll let the tech warriors fight the pixel battle. I think its irrelevant, the UI is what needs to improve, not the screen resolutions.
