It's in the Windows App store. $2.99. You also would need to be running Plex Media Server on something.

1.how do i get the skin and how do I change my view to posters or showcase...right now everything I s in a list and it shows the poster to the right

2.anyway I can get it for free and am I getting this app for the server or htpc

Settings -> addons -> get addons and select xbmc.org repo -> skins -> select skin you want. After you install the skin go to your movies, hover your mouse over to the left side of the screen and you should see the view settings.

It's the only skin I use.

While it may not fix the issue be sure that you are assigning your server a static ip. I'm thinking something may have changed within the network and addresses that were assigned from the look of your log.

I figured out what was causing the problem.

I installed AVG on my system a few days ago, and someone on the Plex forums mentioned that a lot of the transcoding problems that have been popping up for PMS/Roku users have been linked to something with anti-virus software.

I disabled AVG, and now the files are playing fine.



Dude just saved me some time because I wouldn't have thought of that shyt at all.

I didn't know this before today, but apparently those new Samsung Smart TVs have a Plex app as well



Just throwing it out there in case people are in the market for a new TV.

finally got my second PC back working again. case is a mess with holes in it from where i took out the DVD drives. had to reinstall Windows 7 because all the good deals are gone on 8 an d don't wanna pay $100+ for it.

bout to download that Plex and see what that's about.

So I got to play around with the Win 8 "Metro" app. Looks good but I'll continue to use XBMC. I need the DXVA + 16:9 stretch. Having to watch movies wit bars is just

So I was organizing all my shyt with that renamer program which helped and now all my shyt showing up.then I ran the artgrabber addon and when that was finished I go to movies and now I got duplicates of all my fukking movies

Please tell me there's a easy way to fix this and im not gonna have to delete them one by one

Dupes in XBMC? Go to settings, videos, clean library. That should sort everything out.

if I get one of those windows 8 keys from you will it work with the version I already have installed(Windows 8 Pro w/Media Center build 9200) or would I need to install windows over again

Depends if what you have installed is a cracked version. I'm almost certain it will activate it but I can't guarantee Microsoft won't toss you in the bushes later on if you are using a cracked copy. I'd install with an iso direct from MS if I were you. Know that if you install a legit iso you won't have Media Center. You'll have to buy it from MS for $9.99.
