Hadn;t heard a peep of this and still was intrigued enough to watch that long as 1st episode. To me it's like a group of modern vampire hunters tracking down monsters in a non supernatural manner.
You still get the Taratino vibe of violence and murders mixed in for effect. Basically a couple of secret societies operating in plain site against one another
