Beyonce is a once in a generation talent.... but she has no real hits. You won't hear most Beyonce music played 10 years from now at a cookout.

You'll hear "before I let go" played, but guess why? Because it's a Frankie Beverly and Maze song, not a Beyonce song.

It's incredible that someone with talent like that won't go and get with some real songwriters and put out something quality, instead of this microwaved music she does, that's hot for 2 weeks and then you never hear it again.

I've NEVER heard anybody play anything from that Lemonade album. Just utter trash. Drunk in love was hot when it was hot, but that disappeared too, and you don't hear anybody playing that anymore.

It trips me out when ppl compare her to Mike Jack, as if we ain't playing that nicca's music from 30 years ago like it just came out yesterday. She'll never be on that level.
:dead::dead::dead:
you don’t actually believe that do you? :heh:

You know what now that I think about it the best example that confirms your analysis is when they voted "Formation" as the greatest video of all time. Not only did I have to look the song up but I don't remember ever watching the video, and the song ain't even ring off like that. So you're right...even though OP hasn't really said anything so I don't think he feels this way

Breh all she has to do is hit up Whitney Houston songwriters, Babyface, Jimmy Jam and Terry Lewis, certified legendary hitmakers, who make songs that are played for generations. But all of these new artists are too retarded to do that.

On paper she's the unprecedented GOAT regardless of race. But when I listen to the tapes, I just don't see it.

I like Beyonce though. She just need to fall all the way back with her acting ambitions and just stick to roles where she plays the singer.

I've never thought Beyonce's music was that great. I think she became infamous during the Obama years because Michele was a huge fan but never understood the hype with her. Most of her catalog is forgettable that wasn't a part of Destiny's Child.

When you say "you don't hear anybody playing that anymore", what place are talking about? Are you talking about cookouts? Terrestrial radio? Streams?
