:manny::russ: It's comical. A lot of people straight up said it would be worse. It's not even possible to shame the current regime into getting any concessions. The genocide ramped up and their followers support or ignore it.

The worst choice was made and I feel like most folks don't want to admit it just because it was already a terrible situation. Everyone who chose Trump over this chose the final solution. Nothing more needs to be said because we will see how this plays out. Everyone in his orbit stands to make money off of it so they don't give a fukk. Folks here voted for the end over there.

A Palestinian man carried the body of a child in the Nuseirat camp in central Gaza on Oct. 20, after an Israeli strike on an area where displaced people had set up tents.
The Truce Is 2 Months Old. So Why Have Hundreds of Gazans Been Killed?
Since the cease-fire took effect, Israel says it has targeted only militants. But death can come for Gazans while on a family outing or sleeping in a tent.

The unfortunate part is, especially for Anti-Democrat folks and Tic-Toc news only types, the cease fire announcement allowed them to feel they ultimately made the right decision even though the killing never stopped. The veneer of a ceasefire will make it so people who don't dig for more news thinks it's largely solved. There is no doubt an intersection of folks who have family ties there who also have to worry about crackdowns on them here stateside after supporting Trump. We have become something I don't believe people realize yet that will change how safe we feel while living IN America.
