Coates is making a point about Liberals displaying depraved levels of vindictiveness and inhumanity in the aftermath of losing the election because they traded in their morality for a transactional politics that is completely blind to basic moral principles. Whether Trump was offering a better or worse deal to those people who didn't vote for Harris is completely irrelevant to that point. His point is that you should be opposing the brutalization and genocide of Palestinians on the moral merit and facts of the case, not whether their family and supporters made the politically correct choice in the election. He says there is nothing they could do to him - including voting against his preferred candidate - that would make him start gloating about their immiseration, because his position against their immiseration isn't predicated on their deference or support, but on the morality of the issue at question. So if their lack of support for your candidate who refused to take actions to stop the genocide is enough to change your position on this matter ("FAFO! FAFO! Leopard eating faces! You didn't vote for Kamala so this is what you get!

") then you probably were never operating out of a healthy moral system to begin with.
