Mr Trump surely won’t let this stand. He received overwhelming support from the public for times like these. Especially since he just got a plane from them as an act of good faith.

I remember when Trump accused his political opponents of being war hawks that would do anything to distract from domestic politics and that they would constantly need to prove how "tough" they were.

Might've been Qatar's idea
Makes no sense to me.

For the past 20 years, Doha has used conflict mediation as a cornerstone of their foreign policy. It has been the place for hostage rescue/negotiations in the Middle East and they also brokered several peace deals including the one between the US and the Talibans.

Why the hell would they compromise their quite unique standing in world affairs by allowing a negotiator they invited to be offed on their own soil ?

Trump is very simpleminded and transactional I wouldn't put anything past him

Hamas also may have refused to leave or something odd. I vaguely remember Hamas leaving the UAE under a bit of a cloud.

no one blame Trump now? :mjlol:
What happened to Israel does nothing without tacit US approval? :sas2:

Nothing will come of this. No one cares about killing hamas and I think everyone involved is over trying to “negotiate a way out” with Hamas.

Everyone involved was okay with this except for Hamas, maybe.

But the comments are saying he hasn’t called it a genocide is this true??
Yes.

He's always practically describing the genocide though... describing all the starvation, crimes and massacres...

He's been against the occupation for decades too...
