My conscious doesn’t need to be soothed, because unlike you I recognize Israel’s sovereignty and them having to deal with whatever outcome they get due to their own actions.
Israel does not have legal sovereignty over the occupied territories...

Also before the genocide it was just strange to have them at Eurovision, Euroleague and all the European sport competitions, but I was "the more, the merrier" fine with it...
Now I'd like them out, they're not in Europe anyway, and the fact that they were let in is just a symptom of European racism...

Furthermore not cooperating with their neighbors in sports and entertainment is a historical impediment to their reconciliation...

I've seen personally in ex Yugoslavia that music, film and series and sport can be the most important tool for reconciliation (together with economic collaboration).
It does take a lot of time (in our case it took 30 years), but it works because it humanizes the other.

Having that sports and entertainment cooperation with Europe, instead of their neighbors, had a strange effect on their society...

lol you mean with their neighbors that feel their country shouldn't exist, won't even let Jews/Israelis into their countries, and expelled Jews in mass from Arab dominated countries because of their religion?

European racism?

How are things going with Dodik btw? The world would be a better place if you're right but I've met enough zealots from the region to know better.

Europe literally felt Jews shouldn't exist, did a genocide still remembered by old Jews, and had more expulsions and ethnic cleansing of Jews throughout history...

It is a testament that reconciliation is always possible: it is just a matter of time, and we live faster than ever in history.

On ex-Yugoslavian reconciliation: compare the animosity from "Once brothers" documentary to this more recent one:

It’s always rich to see the bad faith, pro-genocide posters scramble when they run out of road.

Bombing Qatar after setting up a peace brokerage meeting is an act that even the stupidest person with no understanding geopolitics can see is beyond reprehensible.

At an elementary level, it was a mob style setup rooted in cowardice and devious manipulation. And, to make it worse, they missed. Now they have egg on their face to match the blood on their hands.

Qatar isn’t any better as an attack like this needs some level of cooperation. Just terrible foreign policies and a lack respect and diplomacy all the way around.

This is so fukked

It’s hard to imagine the most cowardly act you could do as a soldier—shooting an unarmed person when they have no idea you even exist, let alone are in their vicinity—is being touted as “supernatural heroism”.

He will be prosecuted for war crimes. His own country will sacrifice him to the courts once everything is said and done.

Next to Ireland and Spain, Slovenia is the most vocal EU country against the genocide.
Last year they recognized Palestine, in July they banned two Israeli far right ministers, and last month they sanctioned Israel:

Slovenian president:

Lol at presidents in the first row, noticeably looking at their phones... I recognize just Albanian Edi Rama and Croatian Zoran Milanović, but there are probably more...
