If subject of matter is all your can comprehend, you shouldn't listen to Jay-z.
Jay-z raps about his life, what goes on in his life, what went on in his life, how different shyt affects him, the places he's been, his motivations, ambitions and stuff like that.

If you ain't noticed that he's not like most of these other rappers talking about other peoples lives after 20 fukking years then well, no one can save you.

People look for the diversity, in flow, delivery, production, concepts, multis, entendres and a long line of technical attributes since he's first and foremost a technical rapper unlike people like Nas, Face and Pac. People are okay with Nas having the same flow, production and delivery for 3 straight albums, but Jays fans would shake their fukking heads if that happened.

To conclude we listen to different rappers for different reasons and we judge different rappers in different ways.

Well I listen to Jay's tracks in the proper context so I see the substance in his music

But yea thnx..I'll do me breh :ahh:

So what yall think he gon name the album

And do you think he's gon sound as Pro black as he did on WTT?

Is it gonna be a victory lap on tracks like BP 3?

A concept album?

SO MUCH POSSIBILITIES THE GAWD CAN BLESS US WITH :gladbron:

A Buckeye State Of Mind

And the album would also be going 3 times Styrofoam instead of 3 times platinum in real life. :lawd:

:childplease:
We dont go by record sales around here:heh:
If thats the case, vanilla ice best album is better than rd,bp,black album, and ag combined:huhldup:
Besides NaS isnt trying to be a commerial radio friendly artists. Its not his strength. Jays a master at radio friendly singles that still keep it hood:lawd: They both have different strengths and weakness, even though their weaknesses is better than everyones best attributes. NaS has more strengths though:jawalrus:

To conclude sales >>>>>>>>>>>> Thread count.

I don't go by neither, but one at least helps the economy.
And if we went by thread count Eminems Recovery was one of the best albums in :hamster:s history.

@backslash whore-ish cumguzzling aside, I do look forward to a new Jay album. I think that he has another Reasonable Doubt/BluePrint/Vol 1. in him.

I don't really mind Jay's subject matter....its what I liked about him, that slick hustler steez is natural to him, because that what he is...a very ambitious dude that worked his way to the top. I just wish that he would actually rap well again....he isn't as good as he used to be...

As long as he doesn't gave us this lazy boderline Chief Keef level of spittin' over some Skrillex Transformers Revenge of the Fallen soundtrack sounding bullshyt then I would be happy.

As long as his fans, the critics, tastemakers, fellow rappers and award shows fukk with the music like they fukked with WTT. I don't think Jay gives 2 flying fukks about a few cats wanting RD or Vol.1 :what:

I'm honestly not expecting much. Jay hasn't really put out anything in the last two years that has made me anticipate a new album from him. And this is coming from someone who owns everyone of his albums. If Jay is incorporating some kind of theme or some subject matter, I'll check for it but I don't want to hear the same tracks with Rick Ross, Drake, Kanye and Beyonce. You know what you're getting with those tracks. Jay rapping about money, the Nets, how much better he's doing than everyone. I wanna see Jay get on his LIG shyt and really spit something more. Jay spitting to something centered around the Murder to Excellence theme/that kind of sound/concept.. I'm happy to hear the album.

All he needs is good production on the next album, and it will be a near-classic (maybe follow the AG concept, follow a unified sound with a few producers). Hov has not fallen off, at all.
