The narcissist in Joe is probably hella hyped on the inside over the fact that people aren't on Rory and Mal's side anymore. I can't imagine how they feel reading the comments lol

Are the majority of comments everywhere about the new guys positive? I only really check this thread about the pod.

It's funny cause I'm sure Mal and Rory were probably laughing after the first 2 episodes but now seeing how people are responding to Ice and Ish they probably feeling some type of way....

This is there last chance this week imo with Ish not being there for the Saturday pod. If they don't try to get back, I feel like the momentum might get rolling to the point where people won't even want them back

Ish already said he ain't a podcaster and he doesn't care for it so he won't be long term

Ice is aight but he ain't as cool as Rory or Mal

Joe gotta find someone else at some point, Joe also mentioned they are filling in while Rory and Mal are taking a break this last podcast

So Rory and Mal may come back at some point

I just don't see Ish or Ice being long term and nikkas are hyping them up now because its new energy and a fresh perspective, but give it 6 months and they'll start complaining

I haven't listened to the Joe Budden podcast in a month or so all I keep seeing are positive comments about the last two episodes everywhere.

Ideally if the money were there for Joe to take care of Rory & Mal & also compensate his other people for subbing in and out every couple episodes I think that would be the best show. But that's asking a lot as a fan.

Can’t sleep, so I’m listening to the new pod (45 mins in)

Ish and Ice are a pretty good duo, I think they’re hitting their stride. They’re all close in age, and you can definitely tell it by the way Joe talks to them comparing to how he talks to Rory and Mal. It’s like his level of respect is higher for these two, likely due to their friendships being longer.

It feels good to hear real opinions on people instead of Rory and Mal’s ice cold industry takes. Each week that passes, the window of returning is getting smaller and smaller for them. It might be a wrap if Joe can get Ish and Ice to commit weekly.
