I just don't know how Coli nikkas are consistently on the wrong side of things and so loud about it. Whether it's music trending or "Paul Pierce gonna be fine, he's moving around like a boss" like fukking Mickey wasn't his boss, y'all are always saying outlandish shyt that doesn't exist away from keyboards.

Let's say shyt is true. Yes, you have an issue if those that were on the ground floor with you, helped you to build something up until it was worth multi millions and you don't consult them when you turn down said multi millions, especially if all of you are supposed to be friends. I don't care if it's in contracts or not.

The main premise of the show in its original form was 3 friends sitting on a sofa with their sound engineer friend off camera talking shyt about the music industry and trending topics. How the fukk do you figure you can leave your friends out any equation lmao, after all the fukking rants you gave about the industry fukking you and how you want to protect upcoming artists from it happening again, you turn right around fukk around the 2 sitting closest to you.

For those saying "B....but the contract" fukk the contact and fukk you too nikka :mjlol: if I'm dedicating life and energy to this shyt 3 times a week and touring the country with you, to get this off the ground WITH you and you can't consult me on matters that impact me and my financial stability directly, I'm fukking you up and leaving the show.

Where do you stan nikkas get off at, like at what point do you say enough is enough and this dude is a slimeball? He's beaten every female that's carried his child and cost his friends millions, guess he's gotta overdraft your account with that Patreon sub for him to catch some flack huh. It's gotta happen to you directly huh.
The game is the game breh

All that friends shyt is cool but at the end of the day, it's his show. Joe is the boss. If they wanted to have a say, they should have negotiated that before accepting being part of it. They even had that same debate when talking about the Ace Hood/Khaled situation.

Also, did they fight for Marissa when she got axed? Did Mal feel bad for taking her spot? She was actually there from day one :sas2:

You know, this is the reality breh.

I like mal a lot on the pod. But he always flew under the radar, and since the new cohosts have come, you begin to realize he just wasn't offering all that much to the discussions. Just kinda picked a position and never explained things. "You crazy if you think that...." :yeshrug:

Mal is way better than Rury who just dikkride takes and provide adlibs to discussions. He always feel a need to add something even when you can tell he just forcing it. Man would be shooting like 30% jacking up 30 shots. Mal don't add too much dimensions to convos but he's much funnier and stays in his lane

Patreon Inc., an online platform that connects musicians and other creators with fans, was valued at $4 billion in its latest investment round, more than tripling its value since September as venture capitalists bet on startups that serve content creators.

Patreon said it raised $155 million in the latest round, led by new investor Tiger Global Management, with participation from Woodline Partners and several earlier investors, including Wellington Management, Lone Pine Capital and New Enterprise Associates.

Tiger Global, the New York-based investment firm, has been among the more active tech investors of late. Recent investments include online sneaker reseller StockX LLC, automation software company UiPath Inc., Brazilian real-estate company Loft Holdings Ltd. and U.K. financial-technology startup Checkout Ltd.

The new capital for Patreon comes after the closely held San Francisco company raised $90 million in capital in September, bringing its valuation to more than $1.2 billion.

The Covid-19 pandemic has proven to be a catalyst for the so-called creator economy, which has faced event cancellations, lockdowns and other measures taken to curb the spread of the virus. Online platforms such as Patreon, Baron App Inc.’s Cameo and Fenix International Ltd.’s OnlyFans have emerged among the winners during the pandemic as people looked for entertainment while artists and creators looked for ways to continue their work and make money.

Jack Conte, Patreon’s chief executive and co-founder, said there was already a “changing tide” in the way creators were connecting with their audiences. The pandemic accelerated it. The platform, which has drawn the likes of Grammy-winning guitarist Steve Vai and the True Crime Obsessed podcast, has seen rapid growth in the past year and now has more than 200,000 creators supported by some seven million fans, company officials said.

Patreon, which isn’t profitable at this point, offers three levels of membership for creators and takes a 5% to 12% cut of the monthly income earned, plus a payment processing fee.

As part of an international expansion, Patreon has added several languages and currencies.

In addition to his “side hustle” leading Patreon, Mr. Conte, who founded the company with his Stanford University roommate Sam Yam, is also behind two bands, Pomplamoose and Scary Pockets, which are also on Patreon.
