This is where I'm at with it. Maybe in the moment they didn't realize how bad it sounded but if they go back and listen to how Joe was basically shytting on them I can't see how they go back if they have any dignity.

It's clear Joe has no respect for these nikkas and I almost don't blame him. A part of me feels like he actually wants them to leave with how blatantly disrespectful he was.

How many 40+ year olds do y’all have to see act the exact same way for y’all to realize 40 isn’t some special age where people start acting mature. Usually if a person is super immature in their 20s and 30s they will be in their 40s, 50s etc...

nikkas is either mature or they’re not. Almost everyone I know who acts how people would deem “mature” was like that since we was teens. 27 year old Mal acts exactly like 39 year old Mal.

I only listened to an hour and while I agree, to be fair most of this ep seems to be an airing of grievances. I’ll withhold judgement until they get back to normal episodes.

Before the JBN, Joe really did talk like they were all equals. So Joe's been the Boss/Mogul for all of 6 months maybe. He acting like it's a hierarchy established already when really it's just developing now

That’s what I’ve been saying the whole time. We barely know what they do outside of the podcast lol. I mean Rory is trying to push this Emotional Oranges shyt but this ain’t the one bruh. Mal just be watching basketball or something lol. Joe got all the swag now because the show didn’t really take too much of a hit and he knows those dudes are replaceable. Rory and Mal are going to have to come with it for people to get back to saying they’re great for the pod.

Amusing that Mal thinks he has decision-making authority. Equally amusing as Rory believing he has any special talent.

They would rather burn the situation down than see Joe move on successfully.

He seems like one of them late 30's - early 40's people with no kids who still thinks/moves like a 22 year old, I know so many dudes (and madd chicks) like that, they have the luxury to focus on trivial, minute shyt like the youngins do, lol...it's all in their actions and conversation.


Salute to yall for the in depth breakdowns of the episodes, I aint listened to none of this and feel like I know everything that happened, lol. I think a lot of yall are soft too, no disrespect...to see yall side with these emotional, way too comfortable ass workers like this, smh. Budden did nothing wrong at all...the only reason he is kind of delicate and forgiving with them is because of the friendship, if he was just in straight Boss mode they wouldn't be back. Imagine John Paxson or Steve Kerr getting in their feelings over Jordan barking on them and talking down to them during practice or in a game because outside of basketball they're friends...lol, foh man. The podcast is their job, stop blurring lines
