fickle af. When Mal first got on everyone was on that nikka jock til he started saying shyt nikkas aint agree with

‘what are you talking about? People stopped fukking with Mal because he became a wet blanket on the pod. Then he started the terrible takes

but the turn on Mal happened when he was too cool for everything and never had any stories

Shultz's and charla tee'd off on rory and mal for like 30 mins on brilliant idiots today. Even called the episode call him daddy. After listening to joe's latest pod I agree with whomever said it earlier in this thread if rory and mal come back after that episode they some hoes.

as wild as joe can be at times, i kind of understand his argument.

mal keeps going on and on and on about respect... what he really wants is better terms on the business arrangement he and rory agreed to. an agreement that essentially empowers joe to make decisions like sending rory home, because he's in charge of the show (no matter how much time they spent together building it). mal keeps making it about respect and transparency, because in his own words he doesn't give a fukk about a contract. except now that he's been told the pod isn't his biz, he clearly does give a fukk. so he's making it about respect to cover for the fact that HE should have been on top of his biz. but he's not entitled to better terms after the fact.

joe could have delivered his message better. but honestly, there is never going to be a good way to tell someone their equity in the business is not the same as yours.

mal also needs to get out of his feelings about ice and ish. yeah, martin kept running, but the show sucked because it was obvious martin and tisha had problems. and there are plenty of other businesses that kept on running with replacements. aunt viv got replaced. voice actors get replaced. rock groups replace guitarists and drummers. van halen and queen, two of the biggest rock bands of all time, replaced lead singers.

the bag doesn't stop. no matter how passive aggressive mal wants to be about being replaced.

Yeah that was a bad analogy by him. They kicked Martin Charlie sheen off his own show, and Roseanne. Like think about that, they fired Roseanne from Roseanne.

Mal really thinks the show dies if he leaves, and now hes mad because he realized hes not only an employee but he’s an expendable one. When joe heard that they could still be friends if he left its like a weight lifted off his shoulders. I can tell by the tone in joe and parks voices they didn’t really want them to come back.

Mal talks in circles so it's kinda hard to nail down the overall point he's trying to make, but I think what he was trying to argue is that they could have solved whatever issue they had before stopping the show. He said a couple times that they peaced it up quick after finally meeting and I feel like he was trying to say that it would have been quicker to talk to them than scramble to find replacements.

@5n0man is ignoring me but all respond to this anyway.

While they could have worked out their problems early i think the time away was much needed. I think joe and mal need to go to therapy also, especially if they intend on being in business together for years down the road.

They peaced it up quick because them nikkas had no choice but to, that train was rollin . Joe pretty much told them nikkas that he didn’t owe them shyt...ON AIR. That shyt is not resolved .

Yeah I don't understand how anyone could take that level of disrespect from a so called friend, It might be a wrap.

Joe now knows that Ice and Ish can work, he no longer fears losing money for going in a new direction. It sucks cause I liked the chemistry between the three of them, but I can't deny that the last few episodes have been far more entertaining than the past year with rory and mal.

The new situation is better anyway because ice and ish came on the show sharing stories about almost fukking Joe up so they both most likely have a better understanding of who joe is and the extent of their relationship. They arent coming in with any delusions over their role on the podcast, and know not to buy into any of that creator equity bullshyt joe be selling every now and then.

My only concern is ice and ish becoming more dialed back in due time because I don't know if Joe will continue allowing them to say shyt that could jeopardize his industry relationships forever.
