On some things, it sounds like they have all they are asking for in their own contract and splits, they just didn't trust it or care to find out.

It also sounds like the deals have always been Joe's deals and he's contracted them on his own to pay them, and then paid them even more than that contracted amount based on how well the pod did.

So I can understand Joe's perspective and theirs. I just don't understand (if joe is being honest) why they never asked to renegotiate their contracts with Joe.

Maybe I'm different, but I'd take my nice bag and get to hustling on my own and use his pod as leverage to get my name out there. Mal should have done a sports pod with his athlete friends. Rory could have done a No Jumper type of podcast w/ that wave of R&B he likes.

Exactly they had no business no showing the job again! They just took 7 weeks off to figure out the business only to come back and still be in their feelings about the business. Why not just start your shyt, they will never have the audience they had the past few years. They going to learn their value

I don’t think so. Parks feels like Mal and Rory are fukking up the money. That’s been his stance this whole time. This is a job that he depends on and takes serious. If I’m parks, who uses his home, who records and makes sure everything is straight while they film, is always on time and an active participant on air, and i see two nikkas always come late, sit on the couch salty and give dry effort AND THEN get mad and stop showing up for shyt that can be settled easily, I’d be fukking pissed. Especially if they are paid way more than they contribute.

He definitely didn't leave the door open for them too. He could have said I wish these guys all the best but we couldn't come to a decision to do the podcast together anymore and that's as far as i'm going to go. That's all he had to say and push through the topics. But even if they are his employee's you don't have to do them dirty like this. I would lose alot of respect with Mal or Rory if they decide to go back to Joe after that. Joe can get the fukk all the way outta here if he think i'm paying for patreon and going against code of ethics like this.
