You dudes are funny, Joe's whole shyt is ownership and creators should own what they create. Therefore it doesn't matter if its 1k or 100k rory and mal should absolutely own a percentage of the podcast. I don't listen to him for obvious reasons, but someone posted a brillant idiots episode here dicussing them leaving spotify last year. Schultz essentially said rory and mal are idiots for allowing Joe to have full creative control over their livelihood and that everyone on brillant idiots owns a percentage of the podcast even the fukking camera man. Not one man can make such life changing decisions like joe does without answering questions

that’s where the homeboy shyt mucks it up…I said earlier in this thread that’s there’s different ways to do business, none of them are wrong or right…just different…and it’s just as valid for Buddens to be on some “aye this is my shyt, I’m the boss, y’all are my employees…either ride the bus or dip” shyt as it to be like “we’re all in this together, we all own a piece and move accordingly” in your Schultz example…but it seems here to be confusion from the parties as to which play this was…a lot shyt left to assumption and an understanding, but left unsaid because “aye that’s the homie, he know what it is”…that plus Buddens fashioning himself as the global leader and advocate of creative equity, and we see another example of the what I call The Marlo Doctrine play out

Not gonna shyt on Mal too much because I enjoyed the show with them 3 as a collective, but never cared for his his too-school-for-school steeze. Seems disinterested most the time anyway.

The energy seemed better with with Ice/Ish, which may partially be the placebo effect - but those two obviously don't have to worry about watching their words re industry stuff. Should just continue with them.

One thing that's confusing to me is the same nikkas parroting Joe's "boss" talk and hyping up him going against Spotify are the exact same ones saying that Mal and Rory should just be happy with whatever they were paid instead of fighting for what they perceive is their worth. the point you bring up is them making their own pod ... its literally on a platform called Joe Budden Network

someone said above they should be entitled as creators ... but nobody in the world would give you a cut of a network. for free you could have done "By Mal's Way" under the Budden Umbrella and owned your own division on the channel with 100% freedom. Not only did you have a free chance and spot... you were also getting paid to manage that on your own with a first form of income from the main pod
