The pod did more for Griselda than Griselda did for the pod. That is not a get. Ill give you KD but one episode outta 400 aint moving the needle.
That’s the funny shyt. Joe used to be begging him to get folks up there. A lot of nikkas didn’t and wouldn’t fukk with Joe. Pay attention to a lot of them early episodes.... Mal was telling him.... and Joe used to damn near be like “nah man... tell ‘em I’m good” and Mal would be like “WE know but they don’t...” and get at him about his tone.

the point you bring up is them making their own pod ... its literally on a platform called Joe Budden Network
someone said above they should be entitled as creators ... but nobody in the world would give you a cut of a network. for free you could have done "By Mal's Way" under the Budden Umbrella and owned your own division on the channel with 100% freedom. Not only did you have a free chance and spot... you were also getting paid to manage that on your own with a first form of income from the main pod
This is what I'm sayin'... nobody really has a reason outside of not liking Joe to support why they feel Mal and Rory were entitled to some piece of it, when they didn't do any of the actual work that went into it. They literally got paid to come thru and shoot the shyt with their homeboy for a few hours a week. Now AS A FRIEND, I don't know if Joe is that great. But when it comes to this podcast, how could Rory ever believe he was gonna audit Joe and still be on the show? If I had been Joe, Rory woulda been gone from the moment he started talkin' about hands. And then there's Mal, who barely even contributes as a voice on the show... why does anyone think these two have been done dirty when it comes to the podcast?

That Griselda shyt is all Mal. West wasn’t gonna go on if it wasn’t for Mal or Con. Cause Con thought Joe was on some hating shyt

Honestly think we will not get a true critic of this JBP situation because everyone with a podcast is too damn chummy with each other. CTG, Kaz, Mandi and Bridget. None of them will say anything about this because they're friends with Joe or Rory.

People comparing this to McDonalds are clueless or trying to pretend to be. This is a podcast. Joe is the main draw but the product is literally those 3 on a screen, on a audio player or on a stage. They aren’t some worker’s behind a panel spittin on ya mcdouble. They’re on the screen or mic damn near 100% of the time. Joe also leans on their connections.
This is exactly what he was crying at Clubhouse about. They brought some people in when the app/pod wasn’t shyt, they blew it up and now that it has value, the people who helped build it up get froze out of equity opportunities.

. Each of them individually made the show what it is today, i can't believe y'all defending this foul shyt. " bu bu Joe budden started the pod" then why didn't he get it off the ground without them and with marrisa? No body gave a fukk about this pod before rory and more importantly mal stepped in.
