Maybe he offered you equity in his network

I’m not defending Joe. I’m dismissing stupidity. Forget Joe. I’m not even the biggest fan of his podcast especially within the last couple years.

I run businesses with both family and my friends alongside myself. The key here is you have to establish norms like working with colleagues, communicate professionally and respectfully. That way it’s business and never personal. It is very tough but once the communication is sorted and everyone is on same page it can work. Keys are respect, professionalism and communication with friends. Joe is all about nah no contract no this no that... that’s your issue buddy, you’re the leader, act like one, a leader should be at fault for the troops being confused. Take accountability

This is the reason most relationships have issues. Lack of communication

Nikkas don't wanna fukk up the energy setting/establishing boundaries but the more you do in the front end the less anger and heartbreak you have on the back end. You actually will likely avoid bad blood altogether if you establish certain things in the beginning

If you and your friends are about to get some money together get details out the way then and there before you end up in a situatuon like this

Joe himself said on the pod that it was Rory bringing the sponsors, joe said he didn't want them.

I think he did more for them on the live show front than people realize. People overlook that he was one of the 10-12 people heavily involved w/ Hennypalooza (Now Dusse). Irony is that I think Rory had an equity stake in that and it was prolly worth more than the pod was pre-Spotify deal


Hell I went to the hennypalooza in Atlanta back in 2015, that bih was way more packed out than any Joe Budden show during his music days

Joe's hot takes and crazy ass personality is the reason why the pod got where it was plus they had good chemistry

I'm not dismissing the fellas as low level workers but the pod blew cause of Joe's personality and that's it

Pretty sure Rory did the cover art and podcast uploads, and descriptions when it all started too... issue is when they blew up, Budden didn’t run it like a business giving ppl roles, he left it open... again look at Schulz podcasts all of them have clear roles. Rory helped the pod , if not , it could have gone either way after Marissa was gone. Joe was still considered a joke to many ppl in hip hop, he was just rebranding

The reason Ak is able to cook Rory and Mal the way he has been because they thought Ak was beneath them. But really they're all the same nikka but Ak is rich off of it

but he could have one at the beginning and end like many podcasts do.

And I’ll argue that people tuned in and stayed with the podcast for years because it was a QUALITY podcast, for 6 hours a week, and that’s because of all three of them, not just the viral moments.

Well i feel like Joe took the Diddy approach with the whole these are my brothers thing and we're friends, and the way he acts towards them on the show...all the while possibly being a snake, or at the very least, being misleading
