Let’s go to Elliot Wilson’s page. He obviously wanted them to take the tidal deal (which was before the Spotify deal) which was less lucrative and was vague as fukk. As per usual business tactics, they’re gonna attack the weakest link and try to secure a deal (Rory).


Ask Rory, how many random lunch invites or dinner dates he had with Elliot since Joe turned down that bullshyt tidal offer.

Rory was in no place to agree to a deal though, so the weakest link argument makes no sense. All he could do was take it to Joe and get a yes or no. How could he secure anything? This was a simple meeting to see whether they might be interested in a deal. A better "weakest link" argument would be that maybe Elliott was probing to get more info on what other potential offers were on the table, so Tidal could adjust their numbers. But as Rory and Joe have said, the Tidal offer was worse than Spotify. So...yea. Joe is lying.

But no matter what Joe says, if your contract says you are entitled to a certain percentage of profits then you deserve to see the numbers

Ian and Joe stated that they estimated how much profit would be remaining and paid them percentage.

Since the Spotify deal is over there has to be a true up of the numbers and parties should be made whole

if you were paying me 3% of the profit and you estimated that you were going to make 10,000 and gave me 3,000. If in the end you made $20,000 in profit then I’m entitled to that other 3,000

I think they’re going to sue Joe, I think giving them more money after the Spotify deal ended was some hush money
