this podcast is really bad at analyzing music, no lyrics, beats or overall feel for what they listen to, bunch of morons

That's not what they do...their thing is hot takes, making fun of people/things and personal life shyt. If it was a Drake album or Cardi B or somebody else they shamelessly dikk ride heavy then maybe you woulda got a deeper breakdown of the album, maybe

Nobody wants to hear them actually break down an album because after all it's a comedy podcast. After all only 2 of them would be equipped to give such analysis, and 1 of those 2 would have absolutely no interest in doing so.

I think Joe is mad that he had to go through his whole career being called mr pump it up. While Jay Electronica is called goat levels, when according to Budden he’s only dropped one classic joint.

Almost the opposite in his head, whereas Jay E has 1 song which people crowned him a goat for, Joe has 1 song which people call him trash for. Obviously Jay has about 40 songs, and Joe about 40 trash ones, but that’s another story.
Joe had to grind, go through label battles, get smacked up, reality tv, all that. Jay did nothing for 10 years and got an album with Hov, a rich broad, Badu and million dollar contracts.
All those things must hurt

Just thinking out loud, but it must be something to do with his own rap career contra Jays.

And of course, mr Russ and Drake are goats, “I listen to music differently because I’m a master, you can’t understand”. fukk outta here
