Well then he needs to talk his shyt to Joe. He the one who fired them. He the one who didn't honor his part of the deal. He the one who's passing up excel sheets talking about "this is how my accountant do".

in film terms, Mal/Rory/Joe are "above the line" everyone else is below it, they have no creative say in anything, only have leverage in the technical sense (being the engineer, using his house, etc.)

It's the little lies that matter. Joe says Rory claimed accountants using Excel is suspect so he called accountants and they told him that yes, accountants do use Excel. But that's not what Rory said. Rory said he asked for accounting documents. Which I took to mean...income statements, balance sheets, cash flow statements, etc. When those types of documents are prepared for clients, they aren't prepared in a half assed Excel that can be edited.
