I think it's more of an East Coast versus rest of the country thing. I'm 38 and got Wayne as the mixtape GOAT. Fab is one of those artists that I can't listen to too many songs straight from him though cause his flow gets too repetitive. I loved Wayne's mixtapes cause the way he'd play with a lot of different cadences. And I still love Joe's mixtapes too.
