Its hilarious how no one remembers Rory doing passive aggressive shyt cause he blew up his engagement and lied to Joe about threatening Akademiks.

Rory was the reason Rory isn't on the show anymore. He played himself.

We remember. But we also remember Joe constantly throwing darts about Rory and his relationship even calling that girl out of her name before that. Mind you Joe knew Sam and was supposed to be cool with her too.

Joe is right. Verse is dope, very good. But it's not some top tier Hov verse, and he has recent verses that are objectively better. People love the basketball analogies and rap wise, it's impossible for someone like Hov to be rapping better now than he was in 1996, 1999, 2004, etc. He's rapping at an obscenely high level but it ain't Vol 2 Hov. And there's nothing wrong with that...because why would I expect 52 year old Hov to sound like that today.

I feel like Rory and Joe was taking shots, but Joe was on another level. Plus he was blaming them anytime his stories or theories was bullshyt. He would automatically scream TALK! He would blame them for not talking or having stories or hearing music. So he HAD to just ramble and make up shyt.

It was a lot of times Rory & Mal talked and Joe would cut them off and change the subject. Or they would get deep into a convo and Joe would just start talking about something completely random. It would have nothing to do with the subject. It was his way to bring the convo back to him.

There were a million times Joe would just argue with them non stop and then say “I wasn’t saying that I was saying this. We all agree then. Why the fukk we arguing?” Or he would say “ I never said that” and they would say “it’s recorded..that’s what you just said”. It was often.



I think there was a point where Mal and Rory realized they were pretty much done. I would say maybe the 2 months before Parks moved to the break up the pod. Spotify deal just confirmed it for them.



I think when Joe realized HIS rants and HIS stories were going viral it was over for Rory and Mal. There are no group viral clips from the pod, but Joe started getting them left and right. Even when he didn’t mean shyt he was saying and he was completely wrong. It didn’t matter he was going viral. Rory and Mal were suckers for acting like nothing bothered them. They should have checked Joe instead of sitting there without saying a word for 20 minutes at a time. Staring at they phones.

I love the gays but yes anytime I hear old folks creaming their monkeys to a Jay-Z verse like that I have to ask some questions, as well as a question regarding their relationship or lack of one to their own father. Made me wanna find my own son and give him a hug. But then again we know what Ish thinks of Kevin Samuels as well. He must have really hated his old man to adopt additional father figures.

I like 4:44 because it hides his weaknesses nowadays in regards to catching the beat. The airiness and dirtiness to the mix was actual for his own benefit. People just really like him talking his shyt.
