He’s right j didn’t know this I ruined my first pair of raw selvage jeans .

I was so upset at myself .

Dry clean only or you can soak in tub then hang to dry .

I have some black wax jeans that I can’t wash either .

He’s not right. You shouldn’t wash them after every wear but you can definitely wash jeans and it doesn’t make someone a dummy for washing their jeans…

Okay and?? Levi's are not the only manufacturer of jeans and most every piece of clothing including jeans has care instructions on a tag attached to the item. There are jeans you CAN wash and jeans you cannot.
Denim should not be washed.

do whatever to the polyester and plastic clothing you wear

Here’s the former CEO of Levi’s telling people that they shouldn’t wash their jeans

In a post on LinkedIn called "The Dirty Jeans Manifesto," Bergh explains that he keeps his jeans out of the washing machine in order to save water.

"We learned that an average pair of jeans consumes roughly 3,500 liters of water — and that is after only two years of use, washing the jeans once a week," Bergh writes. "Nearly half of the total water consumption, or 1,600 liters, is the consumer throwing the jeans in the washing machine. That’s equivalent to 6,700 glasses of drinking water!"
